"Dr. Brien Hsu has been my dentist for many years. I am by no means a fan of going to the dentist, but I can honestly say my experiences with Dr. Hsu has always been pleasant. I recently moved from California to Texas and there was a time when the 2nd molar tooth in my left lower jaw started giving me a hell lots of pain. I visited a reputable dentist in Plano,tx and he saw in x-rays that that root canal procedure done inside there 15 years ago was not properly completed as a small piece of nerve was still intact. He referred me to two tooth implant specialists because he did not think the tooth could survive the 2nd root canal procedure. Both specialists recommended me to go through a very expensive tooth extraction and implant procedure. I didn't feel comfortable with their prognoses, so I asked the 2nd opinion to my all time favorite Dr. Hsu. After Dr. Brien reviewed my information, I had a consultation with him over the phone. he told me that based on the x-rays and photo's, he could probably save my tooth. I immediately made an appointment and booked a flight to see Dr. Hsu in Rancho Cucamonga, California. After a few hours of work (I'd say the most painless root canal procedure I've ever had), Dr. Hsu was able to save my tooth and placed a temporary cap. I then scheduled my next visit with Dr. Hsu and flew back to Texas. I returned two weeks later, on another flight to California, to have my permanent cap delivered by Dr. Hsu. After everything was done, my pain was gone and my tooth felt great! Not only was Dr. Hsu able to save my tooth, but I saved a lot of money from not doing the implant ... even when I factored in my co-pay and cost of air flights. Dr. Hsu has always been very honest with me and his dental work has always been painless. I really wish his dental office was out here in Texas..."

"Just moved into the area and was looking for a good dentist. At first my insurance sent me to some guy down on Foothill. Needless to say when I stepped out of that office they gave me a laundry list of dental stuff that I needed. I didn't trust that other guy, so I talked to my neighbor. She recommended that I go to Dr. Hsu. The office looks like a five star hotel - plus the girl's here at this office were nice and helpful. Dr. Hsu, the main dentist here is amazing. Very thorough in his explainations and he seemed to genuinely care more about my teeth than killing my checkbook. I ended up just needing a few fillings - quite the contrast from the list of dental crap from the other office. On the day of the filling, Dr. Hsu and staff got me a flick to watch and made sure I was comfortable - the whole procedure was completely painless - and this is coming from a guy who's a total wimp!"

I came here to get a crown done. I delayed getting my teeth fixed due to fear of pain. To my surprise it was a smooth and comfortable process. I didn't feel like i was in a dental office. The office was beautiful like a spa. Dr hsu was very communicative for each process he was doing. I didn't feel a thing! The staff was very accommodating and made me comfortable. I also brought my daughter. She's a toddler. It was her first experience. I was more nervous for her. But she did great even had a sealant done. She had no fear or discomfort . Dr hsu and his staff are great with kids too!

I've been a patient of Dr. Hsu for years and can honestly say he is the most pain-free, efficient and knowledgeable dentist I've ever had. I can go on about the numerous fillings, root canals and caps my troublesome mouth has required over the years staring from my sugar-laced childhood, but I won't bore you. Needless to say, before Comfort Care, I'd seen a multitude of dentists and none of the experiences could be called pleasant- I'd usually walk away with an aching jaw and nightmares of needles attacking my face. I'd consequently built up an intense fear/hatred of going to the dentist. After ducking out for years, I finally had to accept that it was cavities in my mouth causing the pain, and I made an appointment with Comfort Care and headed in. I was mentally psyching myself up for the first and maybe biggest thing I dreaded- the novocaine shot. I'd always remembered these shots hurting like crazy going would move in and then the dentist it around once it was already in and spread the novocaine around, resulting in more aches. Then, even after the shot, I'd sometimes still feel some pain while being worked on, resulting in more shots or being force to bear it. When Dr. Hsu numbed my mouth, I didn't even feel the needle going in. From there, all the drilling and filling was completely painless and surprisingly quick. His work is solid(never had a filling fall out or need fixing like I have with other dentists), and he takes the time to go over procedures and update me as he's working on my mouth. As I said I've been going for years and would highly recommend  Comfort Care to anyone, particularly anyone with those childhood needle fears.

"Dr. Hsu has been my family's dentist for many years now. His staff are always friendly and easy to work with. I have had painful experiences with other dentists, but ever since Dr. Hsu has been my dentist, he helped ease my phobias of dentistry and made all my visits comfortable. He's always been very honest with us, being very patient about explaining all the minor details about our procedures. I remember a time when I was looking to do veneers for my front teeth after watching how they were done on Extreme Make-Over. Dr. Hsu had done some veneers for one of my friends and they looked amazing. I decided to asking him about doing the same thing to me. he was very nice and thorough in explaining the the process with both benefits and consequences. He convinced me NOT to do the veneers because he didn't feel comfortable shaving down any of my healthy teeth in order to make them look good. Instead he offered me an alternative - deep bleaching. He was able to make my teeth beautifully white, without having to cut my teeth down! Best of all, he saved me thousands of dollars by not doing the veneers. If there was a way to rate this dentist above 5 Stars, I would definitely do so!

I travel to this dentist for one reason. I believe Dr. Hsu is the best dentist period. He has very gentle hands and pays a lot of attention to making sure we're always comfortable. I don't know how he does it, but his shots never hurt! he doesn't even use that numbing cream before giving me an injection - and I still never feel it. I've even seen him do work on my children - they think he is some kind of magician; their mouth goes numb without them even knowing, his work is fast and painless and then they're out of there-teeth fixed without having any discomfort. When we visit Dr. Hsu and his staff, we always feel warm and welcome. His bedside manners are just so friendly and open, make me feel like he's family. People may think I'm nuts but my family and I actually looks forward to seeing our dentist! It's make really sad to hear about all the medical problems with his baby. I've been reading it on his blog on website. My prayers go out to his family.
